All our staircases are designed and manufactured bespoke, and we can offer a wide range of styles including spiral stairs and winder staircases, or in some cases a combination of styles, designed specifically for your space.

You can trust our experienced team to design a staircase which is both beautiful and ensures a natural flow in your home.

Combination Design

In some cases, the best approach with loft conversions is to combine more than one style of staircase to ensure the finished design is practical and meets the Building Regulations requirement for 2 m headroom above each tread.

FAQs

Do you export staircases outside of the UK?

Yes, we can arrange delivery worldwide. Approximately 15% of our staircases are exported overseas and we have helped customers across the globe achieve beautiful results on their projects.

Learn more about exports.

Do you offer a fitting service?

We are only able to offer a fitting service for clients in the London area. However, all our products are designed for local tradesman and DIY enthusiasts to be able to install, and because they will have been fully erected in our workshop and made to measure there is very little work to be done on site if correct dimensions have been supplied. Full fitting instructions are sent out with the staircases.

Can I order a custom design of casting?

Yes, we can create entirely one-off custom castings at our foundry or work with steelwork partners to produce laser-cut steel panels.

Why do you use cast aluminium for your spiral stairs?

Cast aluminium is virtually indistinguishable from cast iron but provides a number of benefits. It is typically much lighter (in some cases weighing around a third of a cast iron design). This makes them much easier to install and can also reduce the structural loading in existing buildings or the size of footing needed in gardens. It is also less brittle and offers excellent corrosion resistance.

Do you have a showroom that I can visit?

Yes, we do. There is a full showroom at our workshop in Chapel-en-le-Frith. The Derbyshire showroom is open from 8 am – 4 pm Monday to Friday. We strongly encourage prospective clients to visit the showroom if they can so that they can see all the different options available and get a feel for the different diameters and quality of the product.
