Welcome to British Spirals & Castings, where tradition meets craftsmanship to create stunning, bespoke metalwork for your home or project. With over 30 years of experience, we specialise in designing and manufacturing custom staircases, balconies, railings, and gates, using the finest materials.
Being a truly British manufacturer, we have total control over the quality of the castings, as we own our own non-ferrous foundry and with our full pattern making facilities are able to take on commissioned design work. From raw materials to finished product all our staircase, balconies, railings, gates and security grilles are manufactured here in the UK.
Today, as a family-run business with Richard’s son Ben in the management team, we have become Europe’s largest manufacturer of bespoke spiral staircases, straight staircases, and balconies. Our commitment to quality is backed by CE accreditation, a testament to our dedication to excellence in manufacturing.
British Spirals & Castings continues as a family run business and has a dedicated team of 19 staff over 3 sites; with a range of skills and experience that cannot be rivalled. Many of our staff have been with us since leaving school and joined us as apprentices. Our team are passionate about delivering the best quality pieces and services to you.
You can rely on our specialist advice relating to all aspects of Building Regulations and we offer design ideas and layout services. Our bespoke CAD system allows us to provide dimensional drawing for all our clients and for our fabricators. We have a wealth of knowledge about staircases and balconies and will be able to answer any questions relating to your project.
