Juliet Balconies

A Room with a View

Juliet balconies, sometimes known as false balconies, are decorative railings which can be fitted outside upper floor rooms. They allow full height doors to be fitted, helping to add natural light to a room.

Named after the famous scene in Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’, our Juliet balconies can either be fitted flush with the wall or incorporate a small ledge for plants.

We can manufacture these balconies in a wide range of styles and sizes using both cast iron and wrought iron to match your design tastes and they style or age of your property.

FAQs

Do you export outside of the UK?

Yes, we can arrange delivery worldwide. Approximately 15% of our staircases are exported overseas and we have helped customers across the globe achieve beautiful results on their projects.

Do you offer a fitting service?

We are only able to offer a fitting service for clients in the London area. However, all our products are designed for local tradesman and DIY enthusiasts to be able to install, and because they will have been fully erected in our workshop and made to measure there is very little work to be done on site if correct dimensions have been supplied.

Can I order a custom design of casting?

Yes, we can create entirely one-off custom castings at our foundry or work with steelwork partners to produce laser-cut steel panels.

Do you have a showroom that I can visit?

Yes, we do. There is a full showroom at our workshop in Chapel-en-le-Frith. The Derbyshire showroom is open from 8 am – 4 pm Monday to Friday. We strongly encourage prospective clients to visit the showroom if they can so that they can see all the different options available and get a feel for the different diameters and quality of the product.
