Wooden Winder Stairs

Winding Through the Woods

These beautiful staircases feature a 90 degree kite turn at the foot or the head of the stairs (or in some cases both). As well as making a great feature, these turns can also provide a practical solution where there isn’t enough linear space for a straight staircase or for loft conversions where the staircase is being fitted beneath a pitched roof.

Do you export staircases outside of the UK?

Yes, we can arrange delivery worldwide. Approximately 15% of our staircases are exported overseas and we have helped customers across the globe achieve beautiful results on their projects.

Do you offer a fitting service?

We are only able to offer a fitting service for clients in the London area. However, all our products are designed for local tradesman and DIY enthusiasts to be able to install, and because they will have been fully erected in our workshop and made to measure there is very little work to be done on site if correct dimensions have been supplied. Full fitting instructions are sent out with the staircases.

What staircase widths do you offer?

We can design our wooden straight staircases in any width to suit your needs.

Are the stairs easy to install?

All our staircases and balconies are designed for local tradesman and DIY enthusiasts to be able to install and because they will have been fully erected in our workshop and made to measure there is very little fabrication work to be done on site. Full fitting instructions are sent out with the staircases and balconies.

Do you have a showroom that I can visit?

Yes, we do. There is a full showroom at our workshop in Chapel-en-le-Frith. The Derbyshire showroom is open from 8 am – 4 pm Monday to Friday. We strongly encourage prospective clients to visit the showroom if they can so that they can see all the different options available and get a feel for the different diameters and quality of the product.
